The new G650GS is powered by a BMW-built liquid-cooled 650 single rather than the old F-series Rotax engine.

the rest must be made in Germany. If it was built anywhere else it would be ready to ride.
You'll still have to spend a fortune on a bash plate, hand guards etc etc.
Such a pity the Germans replaced their mechanical engineering designers with electronic engineers after the 1150 and Dakar.
I wonder when they're going to bring out a replacement for the Apple Mac.

Now if only they listen to their supporters and release a Dakar version... with all the extra's.........
No no no. I don't want to see a Dakar version of that bike. I'll be very upset if there is a newer Dakar than mine.
A Dakar with alloy rims and small (14l) tank. No thanks, I will rather stick to my trusty steed.
