A mate of mine has just sent me the following. Anyone out there have any advice for me? Please let me know.

Hi Geoff,

Tell me - have you heard any problems with the chaps with 650’s regarding stalling.

Mine stalls every now and again. If I leave it a day then is seems to be okay again for a trip or two. But then happens to cut off again every time I have to stop for robots etc.

Have it reset

I had my management reset via Shane and after that it performed much better. Also check the air intake sensor connected below the airfilter. Make sure it is plugged in properly. Mine unclipped and the bike idled sporatic.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle

I fixed mine by disconnecting

I fixed mine by disconnecting the battery for about 15min and then re-connecting.  Then turn on the ignition and wait till all the lights have stopped flashing before starting.
