About Us

We are an officially-registered BMW Motorcycle Club. Our headquarters are in Cape Town and we represent riders and owners of BMW motorcycles in the Western Cape. We have over 200 members, from 18 years of age to the eighties, riding single-cylinder 650cc offroad bikes to four-cylinder 1200cc road bikes. Our club prides itself in promoting safe, responsible motorcycling. The Club Captains lead club rides with a focus on safety. Longer rides enjoy the backup of our club trailer and the presence of our trained paramedics to ensure a safe environment for all our members. Club rides generally cater for riders of average ability, with some rides aimed at more capable riders, and others specifically for beginners. One of the club's achievements is providing an environment for people to develop their skills and safety levels - many of our members only started riding a motorcycle after their children left home (call it midlife crisis - we don't care as long as we can ride).
