The Advanced off-road riding course is just that - advanced! It is compulsory that participants successfully complete the "Weekend Off-Road Course" first and are absolutely sure that they have mastered all techniques and skills taught there, before attempting the Advanced Course. This is a very challenging course, which teaches the salient points of the craft and will delight experienced off-roaders. Jan du Toit and Gerhard Strydom will be the instructors for this course and it will be the same as the [http://www.countrytrax.co.za/courses.advanced.php 2008 Advanced Course]. Over the three days participants will be evaluated on the following : * Rider skills * Fitness * Safety Consciousness * Environment Consciousness * Camaraderie * Alertness * “Destructive riding nature” Camel Backs, Moto-cross type off-road boots and knobbly tyres are compulsory. Participants must arrive on the Thursday evening. The course starts after supper! We can only accommodate 14 participants on this course and the '''cost is R3 500 (shared accommodation)''' or '''R4 000 (single accommodation)'''.
