Anyone had experience with the BMW tall/high seat (or alternative) on a 1200GS?  If so, how tall are you?  Tony?

Stephen

My 1200GS had the standard seat set to the high position. I used 50mm Roxspeed pivot raisers and Fastway footpegs mounted in the low position (about 25mm lower than standard).

I'm not aware of a higher seat for the 1200.

Thanks for that Tony.  How

Thanks for that Tony.  How does the GSA compare as regards seat and foot peg height?

I've moved the footpegs

I've moved the footpegs across from the 1200GS but initially did not fit the handlebar raiser.

After a couple of thousand kms I've decided that the riser is required - standing is awkward / uncomfortable and even riding seated becomes uncomfortable after a while. Note: the bars have "rolled up" as high as possible.

Oh, the answer to your original question - 1.95m (6'4").
