AIRCOOLED BIKE MOTOR WANTED FOR A TUK TUK
I have a Russian tuk tuk,
It's the 1999 model of the TULA MURAVEY SCOOTER TRUCK ( MURAVEY means 'ANT').
A work horse for local deliveries.
I use it for runs to the town dumpsite and for local sojourns to the hardware store.
It seems the force air cooled 200cc motor is getting tired and as there is no agent in SA, spares are no longer availeble.
I guess a vespa or similar scooter motor will do the job.
The TULA motor has electric start as well as a hand lever start.
Max output is 11hp at 4800RPM and top speed is 50 kph.

Forgot to mention today Andy, that the Vespa PX200 engine may be suitable, but can't vouch for this, since I don't work on them and are not familiar with their dimensions, mountings, etc, + they don't have a chain drive.
You could contact these guys to find out availability & cost of such an engine (PX200E will have elec start)
