Just got a R1250 fine for leaving my license at home in my panniers.

I offered to go and fetch it or have the wify bring it. Nothing. I am sure I could have done quite some speeding for the same price !

They forgot to let me sign the ticket though, will this help me in any regard ? I can just plead It wasn't me . . ?

I don't mind paying R100 for my complete lack thought and the danger to other road users because of my forgetfulness. but, R1250 !

I can get it halved by producing my license when paying the fine, but still ! Can anyone give me some advice other than always carry your license or copy thereof on you? I am genereally always good with this. .

What a way to start the day . .

Try these 2 ladies. They deal

Try these 2 ladies. They deal with fines and can maybe reduce it further. It was given to me and was assured that it is legal.

I did not read your header.

I did not read your header. These ladies only deal in Cape Town fines. They can maybe tell you who deals with JHB fine
