Nats and I are thinking of taking a leisurly back roads ride to the Biedouw Valley this weekend, camp Saturday night and home on Sunday, probably via Lamberts Bay side and the coast.

Idea will be to get to the valley earlyish and have a look around, go for a swim at the waterfalls or in the resovior and generally just chill.

Will probably arrange meals there as well.

Anyone keen to join us is welcome. Very easy ride but you will need your own tent etc.

Yes Chris, would have been

Yes Chris, would have been staying there, but now the wife says she would rather go to the Oasis so am trying to get gold of them.

I have probably been to Barry and Mariette around 50 times in the last few years, and have driven the 4x4 trail around 30 times. A very special place for Natalie and I and our favorite place to be when we escape.

Warren have you been to

Warren have you been to Beaverlac just outside Porterville - was there the past weekend in the bakkie, had the bikes on trailer and "cruised" around on Saturday on bike - very very nice !!!! The shop there has EVERYTHING you need, meat, wood, cooldrinks, beers, you name it and very affordable. Very nice rock pools to splash in...

If you would concider this, let me know then Tracey and I got join you on bikes.

Cheers

Anywhere is good

Hi Johan

I don't really mind where we end up, just have cabin fever and feel the need to get out a bit. For Nats Xmas and Jan etc is very busy so we just need to have a break.

You want to go to Beaverlac, no problem. Do we have too book.
