BMW Biker - Fest 2010 Who's going???
Hi to everyone who is planning going to attend the BMW Bikers Fest 2010.
Could I get an indication of who wants to ride down to Oudshorn together on Thursday or Friday??
This is just an indication to see who is interested??
Can you indicate what day and time you would like to ride and which routes? I would like to go through Montigue and go through the R62.
Perhaps it might me cool?
If business allows, Gizzy and I were thinking of leaving on Thursday evening and sleep in Robertson?
Di and I are going up with Anne and Andy on Friday. Not sure about time yet.
Adrienne and I are planning to "pop down" to Oudtshoorn via Worcester and R62 (+-405km) on Friday. Hope to leave at noon.
Lawrence, Rhian, and I are planning to leave from Southern Suburbs onto N2 to Swellendam and then through Suurbraak to the Trudeux Pass, Barrydale (lunch stop) and then R62 to Oudtshoorn. All tar.
Leaving around 9:30am Fri and hoping to reach Oudtshoorn late afternoon.
Leaving 1500 on Friday.
Tar all the way.
Staying at "Eldorado". wherever that might be?
We rode up on Sunday afternoon, and stayed in Barrydale at Sandi's B&B (R180 pp sharing). It was awesome, and we had supper at Jam Tarts. Monday morning it was Tradouw Pass, Heidelberg, R101 to George, and in at Pine Lake Marina.
Hi there!
Anybody going Friday morning - preferably more gravel than tar...?
I would like to take a route which could look like this:
