A breakfast run to Kelkiewyn in Villiersdorp led by Max Lange.

Route

The route will include 2 mountain passes, faster riders only overtake on the right and slower riders please be aware, hold your line where required but allow faster riders to pass easily over the passes.

Initially the route will follow the N1 until we branch off at the Stellenbosch turnoff right under the N1 onto the R304. After 6.5 km turn left proceed for 3.5km and join the R44 towards Stellenbosch. Then left onto Helshoogte (R310) towards the R45 to Franschoek.

The first re-group point will be just other side the Helshoogte pass.

Continue with the R45 towards Franschoek where we will again re-group just before the Franschoek Mountain pass. This is a lovely pass with a mix of tight turns and sweeps.

We will re-group again after the pass on the Theewaterskloof Bridge.  Then on to Villiersdorp, approximately 10km to the venue: Kelkiewyn.
