Buff 2010
So whose going to the Buff?
We are a group of 6 leaving Thursday, staying Thursday night at Warmwaterberg on the R62, then off to Mosselbay via Outshoorn on Friday. Found a nice place to stay in M/Bay just up the road from the Buff (last year I camped, this year I will get some sleep!). Will be visiting Outshoorn over the weekend to see the BMW Festival too. Gonna be a jol, can't wait!
Yup, I'll be there. I'm leaving with group of road folk on Thursday morning
we are only leaving on friday morning early, anyone else want to join us? we are camping, prefer to have front-row seats to view the animals at play in the wildtuin....
b t w does anyone know how to disable the abs on a 1150r?
I will be leaving on Friday with some disgraceful old farts from Ulysses, we will be staying on the Santos express. Hope to get to Oudtshoorn on Saturday sometime.
And yes,we are going to the Bike Fest in Oudtshoorn on Friday. Saturday to the Buff via LAZY LIZZARD in Prince Albert for that amazing apple tart and thick cholestral forming farm cream,
with coffee of course. Then on to Klaarstroom, Meiringspoort and on to George via the Outniqua (spelling) Pass
past the airport, hope the aircraft are parked correctly this time round, to the Buff and meet up with some folk there. We will return via the Robinson Pass. Sunday, possibly the Prince Albert Pass and on to Knysna then George via the 7 (?) passes and of course the return to Oudtshoorn will be via the Montague Pass.
Ride with care, 'tis a long week end.
I will go to the Buff 2010 along with 3 non club member friends, leaving Cape Town Friday at around 14h if we stick to our plan. We will go there all the way on the N2, most direct route. However, I'm planning to take a longer, more scenic route on sunday afternoon. Leaving Mossel Bay at around noon, would gladly join a group that has similar plans.
