Cederberg Oasis off-road ride

Dates 7th to 9th May.

The Club has booked out the entire venue for the weekend where we will be waited on by Gerrit & Chantel.

There will be two groups for the Saturday's ride.

The itinerary will be as follows :

Leave on Friday at your own time and head for the Oasis, or leave with the group at 1500.

Fill up in Ceres.

Head for Cederberg Oasis and arrive around 1800.

Saturday after Breakfast you can join one of the two rides :

Ride 1) Retrace your steps and go up and over Katbakkies Pass past the Kagga Kamma turn off and down Peerboon pass on to the Ceres Calvinia road. Head towards Ceres then Turn off on the dirt road that takes you up towards "Op Die Berg", the back to the Oasis.

Ride 2) Ride to Clanwilliam then on to the Biedouw Vally to Wuperthal. Then up the Pass to Eselbank and back to the Oasis.

Sunday : Depart at leisure or in a group around mid day.

The following accommodation options are available.

1) Dormitory room : 1 Double bed and 3 single beds .  R110.00 per person. Could sleep 4 or 5 people of the same sex.

2) Cheetah room : 1 double bed and 1 double "bunk" bed. R110.00PP. It will suite a couple or possibly 3 ladies.

3) Room 3 : 3 single beds. R110PP

4) Room 4 (North Room) : 1 double bed a 1 double bunk bed. It will suite a couple or possibly 3 ladies. R110.00PP

5) Old Farm House : 1 double bed and 2 single beds in separate rooms. Must be good friends as the Toilet is situated off the main room. R110.00PP

6) 4X2 Sleeper tents with beds and bedding. R100PP

7) Camping : Bring your own tent's and bedding. R35PP

Breakfast : R40PP

Dinner : R80PP

Back up vehicle with trailer : R50 per person.
