BMW community reaches out and touches the lives of special people..... We will do the delivery of a Samsung side-by-side fridge and freezer, a Samsung washing machine and a Defy chest freezer to the Mispah School (72 children in the hostel with learning disabilities) and a DVD player for the Elim Home (50 physically disabled children) in Elim on Saturday the 26th of January, God willing. Departing at 8 from the Firland Shell Garage on the N2 just before you hit the Sir Lowry's Pass. Breakfast-stop at the Houwhoek Farmstall (own expense) whereafter we will head through Hermanus to Elim. The trip will cover about 20km of dirtroad as this is unfortunately the only way to enter Elim. The road, however, is in a very good condition and all road bikes are wellcome to join us. I would like to make a reservation at Houwhoek farmstall, so please let hubby, Johann (JR), know if you are joining us. You can also sms or e-mail me directly. My wish is to have the fridge and freezers filled with foodstuff and the washing machine with washing powder. I approached Tydstroom who donated 25kg of chicken. If you would like to get involved, please feel free to contact me. Any donations are wellcome. Financial donations will be used to buy food in bulk from Trade Centre. The children are very excited about the bikers visiting them. So, saddle up! Let's make a difference to this very needy community.
