On my way back from Matroosberg saw the group in Ceres, looked like a big group - how was the ride? Later on had a chat to Cliff on his cruiser at a robot and MAN O MAN what a BEAUTIFULL beast you have Sir !!! Johan de Jager "It's all about the ride, nothing else"

G'Day all, Well, another fantastic ride to one of the favourite club destinations. This is a DAY RIDE to Ceres where we will be stopping for lunch, returning to Cape Town via a circular route. DATE: Sunday September 7th TIME: 09h30 START: Engen Plattekloof ROAD CAPTAIN: Lawrence Brown ASST CAPTAIN: Brian Messenger VENUE: The Herberg, 125 Voortrekker Street, Ceres MENU: Lunch Carvery Starter: Soup of the day with warm bread rolls Main Course: 2 Roast meats or 1 Roast meat with home made chicken pie,Roast potatoes, Rice, Rich gravy and a selection of 3 veg. Dessert:Baked Pudding with custard or Ice cream COST: R79.00 per person ROUTE: Leave Engen Plattekloof on the N1 North. Exit at J13, and after a short stint, take a right towards Wellington. Turn Right towards FISANTEKRAAL which will bring us to the intersection of the R44. Left onto the R44 towards Wellington. In Wellington, turn right after which we will cross Bains Kloof. Follow the R46 to Ceres, after enjoying the fabulous Michells Pass. Lunch at 12h30 to 13h30 Leave Ceres on the R46 Join the R43 towards Goudini Via Rawsonville, join the N1 Cross Du Toits Kloof Pass Say goodbyes at the foot of Du Toits Kloof Pass. The weather forecast is for dry and 19 degrees so a pleasant day which would be enjoyed by your company. Hi Lawrence, in the main header the starting time is shown as 8:00 maybe you should change this to the correct starting time 9:30. People that show up at 8 in Plattekloof might get upset. www.wode.co.za
