Crashbar for F650GS Dakar
This might seem stupid to ask, but does crashbars for the Single 650's work? They just don't look that they will give much protection in the event of a crash... Any insights on the matter?

they actually work surprisingly well.... provided you fall on a relatively even surface.
the guards form a straight line to your handle bars, so when you put the bike down, the plastics don't actually touch the ground.
They also offer some protect to the pipes on the left side of the bike.
