I finally got some Doubletake mirrors...

they look awesome!

Foldaway mirrors should be standard on motorcycles :-)

How much?

At the GS Trophy I couldn't get the bolt off one of my mirrors.  So just rotated it inwards and it was just like a foldaway mirror!  It was actually better because the mirror was facing away from me.

I've done the same on recent rides however it's a bit of pain to tighten the bolts everytime... RAM mounts are quick and easy...

To be honest I only have mirrors on my bike because the law requires it :-)

Interesting! They look quite

Interesting! They look quite cheap too.

One question, in case you have ridden gravel or even tar roads with them already: it looks like the arms are made from some sort of plastic/composite. Does that provide the right amount of rigidity to minimise shake?
The Holy Grail of motorbike mirrors must be a mounting that absorbs and neutralises handlebar shake to give a stable reflection. In the absence of this perfect solution, are these double-takes at least as good as the standard GS mirrors or worse?

Thanks,

Tian

My left standard mirror had a bit of a vibration in it on tar roads... the double take mirrors are clear (no vibration, stable reflection) on tar.... i haven't been offroad with them yet.

The arms are made from a similar plastic (Zytel) as the RAM mounts, they are  very hard and rigid.

I will post more feedback in a week or so... I only had these mirrors for two day now :-)
