Ever wanted to visit the Transkei Wild Coast?
The Club is doing a lovely GS dirt tour to this beautiful part of our country from the 12th to the 24th August 2010.
This "laid back" tour staying in Hotels every night and with virtually every second day a "rest" day might just be what you are looking for. On these "rest" days you will be able to just relax with a book, go for a walk on the unspoilt beaches, sleep late or join me on short challenging outrides for those seeking an additional adrenalin rush.
We stay at :
- Road Lodge PE - 1 night
- Trennery's Hotel - 2 nights
- Mazappa Bay Hotel - 2 nights
- Kob Inn Hotel - 2 nights
- Ocean View Hotel - 2 nights
- Anchorage Hotel - 1 night
- Outspan Inn B&B - 1 night
- Protea Hotel Tsitsikamma - 1 night
Join other like minded Club members and guests as we ride from Cape Town to Port st Johns crossing the Kei on the ferry and back to Cape Town over 13 days. The riding on the Wild Coast will be all on dirt roads. The ride is pillion friendly and eight of the participants are bringing their partners with them, including a honey moon couple!
We still have space for 2 bikes. Preferably with couples but singles would be fine. Hopefully a lady rider to share with one of the other ladies.
We have 2 lady riders on the Tour with us at this stage.
The riding is not difficult but you should have had a reasonable amount of dirt road riding experience.
The Tour is accompanied by a back up vehicle, bike trailer, paramedic as well as 2 medical Doctors.
Cost is R7900.00 PP
