Hey, my father-in-law just found the new F800R, anyone got any idea about when it is expected in SA and how much? F800RF800R

Interesting to see it's chain driven and not belt driven like the other 800's

just imported

I've just brought one of these Chris Pfeiffer F800R into RSA from Australia. What a lovely bike to ride!

And yup it's chain driven.

Not going to be available.

I found a picture a while ago and spoke to various folks at our dealers.

In there wisdom, BMW SA has decided that naked bikes don't have a market in SA and so will not be importing this.

Pity, because I had visions of my self reaching into the bond.....................

naked bikes

Want a naked BMW, get a r1200r. they are highly underrated and go for comparatively little money plus you don’t have the extra cleaning duty of a chain ...
