Avinic Trading has been re-branded GARMIN PRODUCT AFRICA (PTY) Ltd.

which was probably an organic development and is great.

But sadly our loss here is Jozi's gain.

Thier office here will lose Eljeanne to Jozi.

anyone who has dealt with Avnic will know of Eljeanne's extensive and specialsed product knowledge.

Within days of any new product she made the effort to become its trouble shooter.

The only product she owns is her Garmin Gym wristwatch, but boy does this lass know her products well.

In the few years I've had Garmins- Garmin V, Nuvi 500 and Zumo 500, I've developed a healthy respect for her competent manner and gentle treatment of stuff that is really RTFM stuff.

But in handling queries etc, I've only had people echo my experiences of accurate to-the-heart-of-the-problem abiity to sort out technical problems.

I'm sure I'm not alone in congratulating her on her new appointment and in commiseraitng the cape on our loss.
