Why wait till you get to Oudtshoorn before enjoying a bit of gravel? I am riding from Franschhoek to Oudtshoorn going via, Franschhoek pass, Villiersdorp, Robertson, Vroijlikheid Nature Reserve, Swellendam, Barrydale, R327 to Oudtshoorn. I am aiming to do as little tar as possible. Total distance is about 450km. Riding time should be about 5 to 6 hours with a stop for lunch at Swellendam.

Speed on tar - max 120km/hr. Gravel -max 90km/hr. I ride an F650GS - 2007

I would like to leave Franschhoek at 09h00.

Anyone keen to join me?
