I’m planning a small Cherry Picking Run for girls this coming Saturday 3 Dec to Klondyke Cherry Farm just outside Ceres.  We will breakfast en-route at the Tolhuis on Mitchel’s Pass just before Ceres.

Date:        3 Dec 2011

Departure Point:  Please mail or call me

Time:       07h30

Breakfast:   The Tolhuis, Ceres around 08h30ish.  Depending on the numbers, there is anA la Carte menu (from around R26 to R60pp) excluding beverages, or we may be able to arrange a buffet breakfast

Cherry-Picking:     Klondyke Farm probably around 10h00

Cost:        Entry fee of R15pp and the price for the cherries you pick is R45-00 per kg. They provide PVC punnets for pickers to use, however you may bring your own containers which they will weigh for you before you start to pick.

Other info:     There is a small farm stall where we will be able to store our helmets etc.  They sell basic things like cold juices & chips and obviously cherries.

Depending on time and enthusiasm, we can do a scenic route back home.

The route will be tar road to Ceres and back.  There is a short gravel driveway/entrance which is hard and smooth.

Please email me or call me and let me know whether you are interested.  Booking essential for catering purposes Cool

Thanks Anne for the lovely

Thanks Anne for the lovely outing to Klondyke Cherry Farm for the cherry picking.  Sorry for nagging you, but the breakfast, cherries, passes ride and berries en-route surely compensated for that.  I will add some pics soon.
