Hand Guard Bracket
Hope someone might be able to help me. I just bought Barkbuster handguards from BikeGear for my F800 GS. When I opened the box the two brackets that fit the main frame to the handle bars were both for the left hand side. BikeGear don't have stock but tried to help me with the KTM brackets. That did not work. They have new hand guards on order, but that will take "at least three months" to arrive. So I was wondering: 1) Can the bracket be bent by heating it? 2) Does someone perhaps have a spare from an old or broken handguard?
My other option is to wait three months, but that is a 1/4 of a year!
