K53 rider training
Hi All
I am hoping to have my own 650 GS Dakar soon, very soon. At the moment I am bikeless with no real motorbike experience, I want to get my licence first. I need to know where is a good place for K53 training where they are willing to rent a bike to me under their supervision and use for actual day of doing your licence. I am booked for October at Stellenbosch traffic dept. I can also do other training in the meantime, the more the better. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions and looking forward to being a BMW rider and club member soon.
Best regards
Jean
Billy de Beer in bellville offers training on his Bikes and you can do your License on the same bike give him a call on 0827424836.
Their are other options and you can give me a call and i will explain John hamman Hamman Motorrad 0860000269 or 021 9145055 or cell 0824485185
I did my licence through Billy and can recommend him. No rental costs, just for the lesson and he will be there when you do your test. Persevere when trying to contact him as he is not easy to get hold of !!

Hi there,
I can also recommend Billy de Beer. He uses a Yahama TW200 which is soooooo light and easy to do the licence with. It took me one group lesson on a Sunday morning for 2 hours. He then took the bike for me to Somerset West for the test, all at the mere cost of R400.
he knows what he is doing.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback, will try and contact Billy again today
If you find Billy too busy there is also Brent 0828748624 who also has his own bikes for training
