Last Night's Club Meeting
On my approach to the clubhouse, in the roadjust before turning into the sports complex, a person shot out on a R1200S, ....... my mind flashed with "Oh no, who was that; leaving already....after 'debating' forum issues with Charles? "
Was a rather jolly evening, sans snoring, methinks all kept awake, without Esspreso though....Cloud was possibly still out riding.... still on honeymoon!
BUT, Natalie organised some Darjeeling teabags especially for me!!! BIG THANKS for that!!
Then Hennie produces Bike Think stickers..and pink ones for me!!! Thanks...will go on the back of the Vito...will try and post a pic.
Also a nice gesture by Mike Voges...valve caps with the valve spanner on the end, really usefull if need to remove a tyre....especially those with tubed tyres.
Nice evening, thanks all!
It was a case of back to normal, The meeting was a total hoot, Tx to those responsible for arranging the "soft" drinks, brilliant, This is what the club is all about FUN.
Meant to do this yesterday but work caught up with me suddenly.
Also thanks to Ian for the new club banners he arranged and Marc for the effort with the motorcycle medical bags, I will post the contact details soon.
And thanks to everyone that turned up on a cold winter's evening. Was nice to see everyone again.
Somehow the dreaded GPS vendors that have succeeded in ruining Julie's experience on both of the only two times Julie has come to a meeting, failed to turn up. So Julie really enjoyed seeing everybody again and may even come to another meeting this year
Sorry I missed the evening, but I hear Charles won the Empathy Award.
Where are the pics?
