We have to have fun up to the last minute – our holiday is not over until we ride into the garage

We will explore new roads and new town, meet new people and see new things along the way

You may wonder why so many ladies events on 1 weekend.

This was to be a follow-up ride for the basics training session the day before.

A few ladies booked, then cancelled - 1 overslept, the other's bike ran out of water (or shall I say coolant) (ahem) the day before... and there was the mist....

Then there were the sudden bookings....

So I said to Andy, well I'm going to lead the ride regardless of numbers and at least try out the new restaurant I'd booked.  Although I must say, when I booked, I told them I was expecting 5 or at a push 10.

We met at Lanner’s Landing in Klapmuts at 8.15 for 8.30 departure. However, Dave, coming from Stellenbosch, somehow ended up near Wellington and then finally met us about half an hour later. 1st round of strafdoppe already allocated to Dave.

Nelsons Creeck 2009 Charity Shopping Spree. Well for us its not really a big deal, but for the 26 children that are a part of the Nelsons Creek farming comunity famalies, its a "BIG DEAL". Thanks to the Nelsons for allowing us the use of their farm and for giving us this oportunity. The BMW club Cape members donated so generously that these kids were blessed. "No!" "HUGELY BLESSED", by the shopping experience at PEP stores in Paarl by the generocity of the BMW club of CT. What an experience to share this time with these lovely folk. They were all so well behaved. Surprisingly enough they first went to buy under ware. I'm sure this was a privilage and not a norm?
