Mighty Men Conference (Non-club ride)

The Gravel Seekers (JR and MotherT) are planning a trip to the Mighty Men Conference 2009 by Angus Buchan on his farm in Greytown, KZN. The conference is only for men (Mother T will be seeing to the catering needs on our trip - someone mentioned that there might be a (church) service for the whole family). They are expecting 200 000 men and places are filling up quickly. Price of the conference : Free Price for camping for the whole duration : R150 pp There's been quite a bit of interest of people who would like to join us. The plan going forward (while JR finalises the route which will be tar only) : * Log onto www.mmc2009.co.za and have a look at the detail * e-mail your name to JR (jlrossouw@mweb.co.za) to indicate if you are keen to join by close of business next Friday * arrange your leave dates as we will be leaving CT on the 22nd and returning on the 28th. * we will be sleeping over in East London - details to be provided * Full details of the total cost will be provided later Please feel free to contact us should you require more information or to answer any questions you might have. Vertrek tye het verander, ry nou eers op Donderdag(23ste)om Vrydag daar te wees.Terug sal ons besluit. Die back-up ry op hierdie stadium nie saam nie, tensy ons nog mense kry om saam te ry met die bakkie.

Andy, register first,
Andy, register first, closes 28 Feb. We are +/- 6 bikes. From my house in Bellville to Greytown is 1708 km, doing the scenic route up(N2) coming back via Bloemfontein(shorter). Once i have the final count, we'll sort out fuel stops, sleeping over etc.

Ons kamp in Oos London, so R50 p/p. Daar is 'n restaurant op die perseel, gaan nie nog sukkel om te braai nie. Ek reken ons gaan sommer staan en eet, na 1000 km gaan ons gatte rou wees.
