Need progressive springs for Dakar.
I need to replace my neck brearings as well as fix a leaking shock... so while I'm at it I'd like to add progressive springs (like Wilburs or some such) to my bike.
Where can I get?
Hi Steven, contact Denver Biggs at BLING KING. He is the agent for Wilbers in South Africa.
Cell: 082 450 8878 or email: denver@blingkingbikes.co.za
I did contact them - but alas they do not accept credit cards. So no sale for them.

You could ping lecap on the Wild Dog forum.
Your forks are critical, and even small variations in them can make your bike dangerous. I would take the bike to a professional like Martin Paetzold of MPR racing. He will give you the best advice and do a professional job that ensures your bike is set up properly.
Ask anyone who has used him - you take what you think is a bike to him, and you leave with a real bike and realize you have been riding a dog all these years.

I have tried, but he is not replying to queries... so.... Next!
Will try Martin Petzold.

Charles, you're quite correct. And they don't call the 800GS "lewensgevaarlike" for nothing
Sorry for the hijack.
Steven, fitting progressive springs to your Dakar is one of the best modifications you can make. It'll transform your bike.
Either Martin Paezold or Wayne Fritz.
I had several bad experiences in a row with Mr MP Custom Valve.
I'd rather give my money to Michael Fuchs 0788448830 (SuperFoxi on WDs) . The guy is brilliant (he was invloved with the team that developed the F800GS) and he'll collect your bike too for a small fee.
Or try Mr le Cap (Jurgen) or Wayne Fritz
Cecil Penny Racing in Montague Gardens 0215510446. They do their own suspension work.
