Practice Rides

I recently got one but due to current work load dont have time to ride it! Did ride at Wellington last week and took it for a short ride at the MX track next to The Barrel. Will let you know when I go again.

We quite often go to Melkbos 4x4, Zone 7, Dirt and Dust and one or two private places with the plastics. We also go away for weekends to Biedouw, Hessequas etc where there are miles of tracks to ride. We all camp on these weekends. Will post here next time we are going to do something. Melkbos has a 5.7km enduro loop, which is very thick sand so good for getting that skill polished. Also a very decent moto X track. It is probably where we spend most of our time, nice facilities for a braai afterwards and cold beers.

I have ridden Melkbos 4x4 and Zone 7 numerous times I just find the sand riding boring i'm looking for areas that are a bit more technical and challenging

Then Hessequas is a good place to go - especially if you want to combine it with a camp. I've been there a couple of times with Dakar / 1200GSA. Maybe we should put a plastic bike (other onviously also welcome) camping weekend together?
