Members who ride a BMW 1150 GS
2 years back into riding after 15 year layoff. Fairly intensive touring since back incl Sutherland, Baviaans, Gamkaskloof, Cederberg, Pofadder- loving it!
Have ridden bikes since a young age. Before my GS, I was a speed-bike rider, but needed a bije that could do 2up, with some gear. And a very nice GS came on the market.
Still "new" to off-roading (but have loved every moment of it), and planning to do one of the courses.

Hi, I'm Buddy Ekron, I ride a 1150GS on and off-road, I race a classic Kawasaki at Killarney, and also do scuba diving. I love being outdoors when not at work. I'm an airfreight manager for an international logistics company.
My name is Nic Lothering and my wife Claudia. We have 2 sons which are both out of home (they may be out of home but NEVER out of pocket!! :-) ) and working in JHB. We moved down from PTA in April 08 and currently living in Bloubergstrand/Table View/Flamingo Vlei - will let you know when they have decided exactly where we fit in.
We enjoy biking tremendeously and prefer sharing this activity for a number of reasons - it is quality time we spent together, its a great time to get close to nature and the things that really matter in life, it provides the opportunity to ride, see, enjoy places you never have the opportunity when going by car, etc etc etc.
We have never belonged to a club and have done most of our riding solo. Looking forward to share these experiences with similar people!!
