Members who ride a BMW R1200 GS
Name's John, just started riding, and really loving it. Originally wanted to start with something small like a Dakar, but things turned out differently and went straight for a GS.
Using it as a sunny weather commute bike, but once I more sure footed, looking to explore some gravel and possible neighboring countries, however, I'd like to explore SA more first!
As for the rest, keen photographer and outdoor enthusiast, camping, hiking, MTBing. Would rather rough it, than stay in luxury accommodation.
Hi guys and girls,
We are just retruning from The Middle East to SA and are really looking forward to joining you on the long and winding roads in SA.
See you on the road (or dirt track)....
Guys,
most of you know me, havent been on this site since Red Adventure had his fall- for those that don't I am a Pharmacist in Durbanville and always have Viagra on special!
I have a lovely wife, Alouette (who doesn't like riding and two beautiful boys (ages 4 and 7).
Why don't you see me on many rides ?? 'Cos I am off only every second weekend and family responsibilities (time with kids, etc) keeps me off my bike for long rides. Do 4x4 as well and there just isn't enough days in a month for all I want to do.
