Members who ride a BMW R1200 GS Adventure
Living in George, working from home and traveling overseas frequently - all great reasons to trade your under utilized 4x4 for a more economical (and fun) mode of transport! Although I only needed something small as a "roundabout" in town, I had the opportunity to buy a more serious bike (with a warning that it will grow on me)! I never owned a bike and still have to learn a lot - but that's what I'm here for.
I am a freelance photographer in my spare time with an interest in sport and action photography (have a look at www.a2iphoto.com).
Currently ending my expat contract in US, planning a bike tour through the US thereafter and returning to the Cape.

I bought a R1200GS in August 2007. ( Pity I did not do it long long ago ). In January 2009 the GS evolved to an GSA.
