Members who ride a F650GS
Mike Gregory - Single 49 - Back on a bike after too many years of being a responsible cager - an accountant and project manager for an oil company. Live in Durbanville - have yellow F650GS and ride in the countryside mainly as I relearn my skills - but what a pleasure. Have a BMW as its "ALL I could Afford" and love my Mistress.
Edna and myself now each have our own bike (old F650GS and new twin F650GS), although the verdict is still out on which bike belongs to whom... The old one is suppose to be Edna's, but after riding the new one she complains that the old one is like a tractor in comparison. In the mean time we explore the roads together to build up her confidence (and mine). Maybe there's a bigger bike for us in the future somewhere.

Hi,
I starting riding bikes in the UK where I grew up. I met a South African biker who planned to ride her bike back home & I joined her on the trip last year. Both on F650gs's - we took 8mths, riding from London to Cape Town via Europe, Eastern Europe, Turkey, Middle East to Egypt & then down the East coast of Africa, arriving in Cape Town last March. I work in Rondebosch & live near Glencairn, Simons Town. Looking forward to getting out & seeing more of the Cape & South Africa. Paul
Husband has been riding bikes as long as I have know him and I rode a DT175 20 years ago and never since. With 40 approaching I thought what the heck and took the plunge and bought my bike. And yes - am loving it!! Wayne and I have been together for 24 years and have 2 daughters, Kaele (20yrs) and Dayna (8yrs). On Sundays, weather permitting, we go for a family ride with Wayne lifting Kaele and myself lifting Dayna. Tineke

Hi,
I'm Carol, married to Gordon, who has a 1200GS.
I bought my bike and after 40kilometres was involved in the Fisantekraal crossing accident which cost me my right leg.
But I'm positive and alive.
Johan Greeff, 29 year old, male, working for a bicycle firm while not riding my F650GS. Bought bike with FULL support of wife! We both enjoy cruising around on it.
