Hi All,
My name is Marius Symms
I have been riding bikes since high school, had a little break working on my career , got married and decided to get in to it again.
I am married to my lovely wife Carley. I recently got my 1st ever 1200 Adventure.
I love the idea of discovering new places dirt or tar and have done some nice routes at the Cederberg & down the coasline from Cape Town to Struisbaai.
My wife has now joined me and we are slowly getting into the pillion riding thing as well.
I attended the Klipbokkop Country Trax training and boy oh boy did that give me a boost.
Looking forward to meeting you all on some out rides. I love the offroad touring challenges and are also keen to do some touring with my wife.

Hello to everyone reading my bio,
First off- to all Cape townions I am a blue bull living in Pretoria.
I'm a furious farmer who believes casting your bread on the water and including God in every step you take.
My wife and I have been married longer than being bike buddies but believe that when mid-life crises strikes it's better going trough the motions together with a bike between your legs :)
My kids? O, yes...I have 3 kids from heaven, biking is the perfect way to spend family time together and site see our beautiful country and in the future maybe a little more of the great BIG Africa.
We enjoy gravel riding for this gives you a new perspective of life and our country’s gravel roads.
And to my reader..yes you. My name is James Jenkinson.

My name is Gary, originally from Fish Hoek (left '77 to Tvl.). I have just relocated to S/West from Jeffrey's Bay, engaged to a lovely lady, she is still in J.Bay.
I have ridden various bikes, my first the Honda C110 (50 CC)through a whole range of bikes. My last 2 being the GS1200R and now the GS 1200 Adventure.
My career has been colourful to say the least (SAAF- helicopters, Construction, farming while working in the automotive sector in PE)I am still in the automotive sector, part of the team working on the SA electric vehicle, The Joule.
I am 54 (soon) but still act like a "kid" when I get on my bike. I really want to become more proficient on the off-road riding (not a hooligan, met "mother earth" a few times too often)and look forward to going away for a few days to camp somewhere "out there", alone or with a few like-minded chaps.
Cheers for now,
GJ
