Most of you should know me by now. If we have not met yet don't expect me to recognize you, if we have I should recognize you.... but not your name. LOL I ride a blue R1200GS, some times faster on gravel than on the tar. This is because the gravel always looks softer than the tar.
My name is Martin. I am new to BMW GS. Had an old Kawasaki 1000LTD. Since I have got rid of it, the GS's start haunting me and here I am
My first motorcycle riding experience as pillion on an old Honda 125. After that I learned to ride the hard way, out on the form on that same 125. I was 10 years old and it totally captured me. Over the past 30 years I have owned and ridden, mostly Suzuki scramblers (200 cc) and tourers (GS1000G) mostly, but my BMW R1200GS tops the lot. I ride about 140km per day, on some of the most beautiful roads in the Western Cape. Over weekends, as family responsibility allows, a couple of friends and I explore the Overberg dirt roads.
