My name is Hein Ehlers. I have ridden bikes from age 16 but see myself as a noob on my new(secondhand) 1150GSA. I have no experience off-road, but can't wait to get dirty.
I bought the bike off a guy that rode it all the way to Tanzania and back. It has some rust and a bit of work left to get it looking the way it should, but it goes well. I think i will call him "Rustee".
I always had a bike but sold my last Yamaha in 2008 due to the fact I only used it on the toy runs. Got the itch again a year ago, but for a BMW only and a R1200GS. It did not go away,so I now own a Adventure and loving it. Done a few rides including one with Donfords which was a dirt roads to Barydale. I ride when I get the gap on weekends and try not to interfer with my family life. Oh yes and my name is Adrian and surname Nigrini. Two riding buddies but they do not have BMW's.
I am Anna-Marie,previously from The Back-up vehicle and wife of Neels. We have recently bought ourselves R1150GS's and in future we will be riding out there in the dust with you guys and girls. Gone are the days of luxuries in an aircon environment. However, at the meetings we will still be at the back....of the BAR, picking up any lost personalities. This we will gladly return the following day.In the meantime I don't know, yet, if I'm brave or stupid in tackling this wild horse....but its fun

Hi, My name is Howard Stasin, I started riding when I was 12. Rode a Garelli 50 ! Had various bikes until the age of about 25, then gave up for the past 30 years. Have recently been bitten by the Adventure bug and bought a R80 G/S. Am longing to go on a slow offroad trip in really remote areas.
