Riders years of experience
Kobus Landsberg, started riding this year, commute and weekend get-aways off the beaten track if possible.
Live in the Boland and ride tar and gravel.
My wife and I live on the farm with a pack of Boerboel dog, 2 parrots some horses and make a bit of wine.
2 years back into riding after 15 year layoff. Fairly intensive touring since back incl Sutherland, Baviaans, Gamkaskloof, Cederberg, Pofadder- loving it!
I have been riding motorcycles for about 36 years but have bought my first "big" bike about a year ago. It is quite a difference from any smaller bike. I retired from the Detective Service at 50 years old and was contracted by the SAPS a few months ago to do Detective Training.
My name is Cecil Hill, married to Celesta, resident in the Helderberg (Strand) with two young adult daughters. I owned a road bike in a former life, but have just recently acquired the Adventure, as the second step towards fulfilling a lifelong dream of both Celesta and myself, to experience the sights, sounds, touch and tastes of Africa in the best way possible - on motorcycles. Our immediate goal is to learn and develop the skills necessary to undertake such a journey starting, roughly, around 2015.
Mwendo - the name of my bike - is a kiSwahili word with several English translations, including: voyage, journey (safari), travel, movement, speed, course and my personal favourite, "means of getting there"!
Hi, I am Hennie
I got myself a GS mainly for commuting daily from Strand (where I live) to Cape Town.
I hope to make new friends and share good times on the road.

My name is Jan Theys. Widower, no children, 54 years old, travel a lot for work, like the freedom of the road, not yet comfortable to ride off tar, never mind off road!
Peter Jacobs my friends call me Jakes. I recently started getting into bikes and bought a GS 650. then upgraded to a 2004 1200GS. I now bought a new 1200 GS. I guess this is it for a wile now..!!
Hi, I'm Brenda Buttercup the BMW F650 that belongs to Julie Oertel.
I live in Capri, Fishhoek, and owned a bike since 2001. My wife and 5yr old daughter love biking too. We are avid campers and love the outdoors. I work in IT and thus use motorcycling & camping as a form of destressing.
This is my first dual purpose bike - and only my 2nd bike.
I have never belonged to a motorcycle club.
