Paddagang Restaurant is situated in the historic Church Street of Tulbagh. With its picturesque Cape Dutch facade and gardens, it gives visitors a glimpse of olden days gone by. The restaurant is well known for its traditional Cape Cuisine food and menus are tailor made to suit each individual. Paddagang lends itself towards small, intimate functions. Paddagang can seat up to 120 guests in summer time, with 70 guests seated outside and 50 guests inside. During winter they light their two fireplaces, which gives the restaurant an intimate atmosphere.

Experience the taste of the real Boland at a restaurant with a name and tradition that goes back a long, long way. Paddagang, now a popular restaurant and winehouse an hour’s drive from Cape Town, is open seven days a week for breakfast, tea, lunch, wine tasting and sales. Meals are served in the dining room on yellow wood tables and in the tranquil cool courtyard. In addition to enjoying the delightful “Padda” labels guests can taste and buy a choice selection of wine from the region. Paddagang's own little vineyard contributes its wines with fun names Paddarotti and Brulpàdda  are designed to brighten your day.

Even more so when they complement a dish of Smoorsnoek and korrelkonfyt, Cape Bobotie or traditional Water-blommetjie Bredie. Visit Paddagang for a generous taste of good food, good wine and old-fashioned hospitality.
