On the way to work this morning right by the newlands traffic circle it felt like my clutch cable snapped. In actual fact it was my clutch lever that broke.

I was superlucky to have a spare one in my topbox. However i wasn't sure i actually had the tools to replace it. But again luck was on my side.

I had the little torx screw that comes with the standard toolkit and a shifting spanner.

I was back on the road in less than 10 min.

Now the only reason I actually had a spare lever was that when I bought these cheap levers from Startline someone told me they were quite brittle, so I got 2  - just in case. Today my decision was justified. woop woop.

Will practice at home. Do I need to know any short cuts or suggestions

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle
