Struisbaai & McGregor off road

So, we could not join JR and his group at the last minute and after things changed we decided to go to Struisbaai; the group concisted off: Johan & Tracey - R 1200 GSA Neil & Jane - R 1200 GS Tanya - F 650 GS Johann - KTM 640 Adventure We all met at the Orhcard Farmstall just outside Grabouw, from here we took gravel road to Botrivier, from Botrivier a bit of tar back towards the N2 and just before reaching the N2 we turned right onto gravel all the way to Caledon. Orchard Farmstall You might ask "a KTM with BMW bikes, how does this work?" well trust me Johann got all his hell from the BMW guys, but we have to admit, his riding gear is quite impressive....ALL BMW !!! This is the reason why he was allowed to join us, the fact that he is Tanya's boyfriend has got NOTHING to do with it..... KTM in BMW kit.... From Caledon we went to Stanford for something to eat, for those of you that know Jane, you will understand that she was happy in joining us but also would have loved to do some riding off her own, I have to compliment Neil though as his riding is so smooth (NOTE TO CHEESY) that just before Stanford Jane actually fell asleep behind Neil on the bike.....or ALMOST did !! Just outside Stanford Jane sleeping...? We arrived at Struisbaai, some of us went for a shower whilst some of us went for a walk on the beach. We had a braai the evening and the next morning left for Napier where we had a small morning bite and after that for McGregor on gravel for lunch. The real story is that he was just showing off the good mood he was in !! Due to pressure put on me about this matter - I have decided to rather NOT put in a picture explaining just what I mean.... Real nice weather, real nice people, all in all a real nice trip. Keep it SAFE !!!
