A Sunset into Moonlight Ride and a Sunrise Ride
30 November 2009 - 11:59am
I am considering putting together x2 Rides.
The one being a sunrise ride....a +- 4 am start, this is to give Cloudgazer an opportunity to see a sunrise.:-)
And possibly a sunset into moonlight ride.
These will be sedate rides. (Yes I can!):-) with a smallish group +- max 10 bikes
Anyone interested.

We should learn from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Wow, when does that happen?
I have found one actually has to be very careful driving around at this time of the morning. Often when leaving for 4x4 trips around this time I have found myself stopped at a robot next to a car full of people with the radio blaring...... obviously on the way home after some joll somewhere....or still on the way to one.

Aah, that explains a lot.
I thought it was my imagination when my friends popped out of existence, leaving me alone in some strange field in the middle of the night.
Warren:
I wouldn't worry about the party revelers at 4 am, it's the one's that crawl home after the sun has risen that you got to worry about.

It all depends if the solar
It all depends if the solar geyser is warm enough for an early start. Sorry Neil, what I wanted to say is that I'll be putting my bike through scrutineering on Friday evening, for the racing on Saturday, so maybe next time. 20 December morning ride looks good.
Buddy

Fridays moonlit ride did and
Fridays moonlit ride did and did not happen.
It was three bikes...x2 Hondas and a BMW...Jane and René on Hondas and me.
Jane and I went CT > Lundudno >H-Bay> Constantia Nek to Ou Kaapse where we met René at just after 8 pm.
From there via Ou Kaapse to Glencairn to Dixies for supper and home via Boyes Drive and M3.
It was nice out but the didn't part was NO moon...clouded out, dark, much like our soccer teams chances of winning the World Cup!
