Warren & Annie
I recently fitted a tkc80 on the front and k60 scout to the back. Should I put the anakees back on for sunday or will the knobblies do?
On the track the tyres take a lot of strain. If you have the option of putting on more road-oriented tyres it is worth it. However, if you have no other option, and knobblies is what you ride on tar with anyway, then don't buy another set of road tyres just for track day. Bear in mind though, that knobblies have speed limitations that should not be exceeded. For good ones, it is 160km/hr - others may be lower. Make a point of finding out the limits for your tyres (Max will help you).
