I planning a trip West to East coast .
SA to Namibia Botswana Vic Falls Zambia Malawi Mocambique
Slow relaxed riding , period of late august 2011,
Anyone interested in Joining?
Would appreciate any recommendation and travel tips from those who have done theses roads.
Would SOLO RIDING on this route be advisable ??

I can not comment on Zambia, Malawi and Mocambique. See my trip report on my trip to Namibia and Botswana last year in October.
What I can say is solo is fine as long as you have made arrangements and take the necessary precautions. More than that you cant do so then go for it, enjoy and let life happen.
Namibia the Caprivi to Katimu and Botswana is perfectly safe for solo riding. Sand is a problem and depending on your skills and bike load will limit your touring. But the main roads are all good quality tar.
