Greetings all,
Firstly my apologies for the delay in getting this Tour info to you all but here it now is.
Cape overnight, off road ride to the Biedouw Valley, including a night ride, and home via Wuppertal
We are planning an overnight ride to the Biedouw Valley for the weekend of 25 to 26 February 2012.
The weekend will consist of a fairly direct route there, an afternoon spent relaxing and swimming at the pools and then a 60km night drive (in pairs) down to the Doring River. Then home on Sunday via everyone’s “must do” route of Wupperthal, Esel Bank, the Cederberg Oasis and Ceres. So a full action packed weekend with plenty of riding and awesome scenery.

BMW Bike Fest
Bookings have just opened for the BMW Clubs Africa BMW Bike Fest 2012 – to take place 27 to 30 April 2012 – in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. (27th April is a public holiday, and so is May 1st).
The last two years this was held in Oudtshoorn, and was by far the best event Julie and I have attended. The program for Grahamstown promises new terrain, and the festival atmosphere that only Grahamstown can offer.
BMWMCC Cape GS Quarry Day, Saturday 28 January.
I have arranged with my farmer friends with the old quarry in the Kalbaskraal area to take another group of club members to their farm where you can spend as long as you want practicing what ever you want across the varied terrain on offer there.
This is your opportunity to brush up on anything you feel you need to without the pressure of getting to a destination or convoy riding, very relaxed and all in your own time.
Advanced "OFF ROAD" ride this Sunday 15th January
The longer serving members will remember how often we had the Club's more ADVANCED Off Road Day rides and they were always very popular.
I have been receiving requests again to arrange another one. This ride will not suit beginners or even semi beginners. It is aimed at the above average rider.
