- Hi, Andre and Wendy Reyneke, we recently joined the club and have been on two of the rides organised by Andy Connell which were excellent. I’ve been riding since 1973, road bikes, only having recently bought a 1200GS in order to enjoy the benefits of being able to travel on dirt roads. This makes me a novice regarding dirt so I’m keen to learn as much of this skill as possible. I’ve done both the BMW intro to off-road riding and the intermediate courses with Chris Hamman. We are now spending as much time as possible riding on dirt roads, trying to build up the necessary skills to safely enjoy this sport. We decided to join the club in order to increase our skills in a safer environment whilst socialising with like-minded people.
