- I became part of the BMW family about 3 years ago. Started with a R1200RT, then a Dakar for a second bike. Traded the Dakar for a F800ST. Bought a 1982 R100RS to restore. This is still a project in progress. Traded the F800ST for a R1200GSA. Travel every day to work and back with one of the bikes. Stay in Gordons Bay and work in Pinelands. 51Km from work. The kids are all out of the house and most of them are married. I have 3 grand children. Me and the wife love to travel by bike and a quick trip to Gauteng is just the average.
