- My name is Manie van der Hoven. Live in Cape Town. Been on the F800GS for just over a year and a half now and had already writen off the first one. Thought I was doing much better on the gravel roads and sand patches, but unfortunately I was mistaken. On my second F800GS now, riding slower and still recovering from my last injuries....
