If anyone is interested in getting a Uvex helmet, they are on special from the company I got mine from - both the carbon and polycarbonate ranges.

The price advertised will come down substantially as the VAT (more than our 14%) is taken off, you will pay VAT and import duty here but still a lot cheaper!

360 euro - carbon

130 euro - polycarbonate

Lots of people are happy with them and lots are not! The anti-fog layer is NOT great in dust, and they actually recommend removing visor and using goggles in dusty conditions, so think about ordering the goggles and maybe an extra replacement visor at the same time.  Anti-fog layer is tacky and extremely difficult to wipe clean, but apparently can be removed with windowcleaner.

The visor and peak sometimes need adjusting and re-alignment and tightening of screws, but I believe the same can be said for the BMW helmets too.
