FOUND: Supertooth Moto or F4 Interphone, THANKS
anyone got a 2nd hand Supertooth moto (bluetooth intercom) for sale, or the later F4 model?
I already have one myself (S/tooth), and need a 2nd one for the 'squeeze'!
(the later F4 is compatible with the older Supertooth Moto)
Cheers
Chris
Give Janet a shout at http://www.bike2bike.co.za/ they have NEW ( Supertooth moto) ones on special at a really good price
I just got a F4 and my pillion will use the Supertooth moto - that option may also give U the best of both
CAUTION on the Interphone.
The USB type port for the unit serves both the headset and the recharger.
This means you have to unplug the headset to plug in the charger.
The mail connector is quite difficult to line up with the USB on the unit and after 4 months of this, the mail connector on the head-set is frazzled from near missed and now is wonky.
Its definitely a design short-comming as the USB on the unit is a s/steel sharp receptacle that damages the male if it is not 110% lined up true when fitting.
Otherwise it works fime and pairing is easy.
* FOUND: Supertooth Moto or F4 Interphone, thanks, off Wild Dogs website.
Andyman - thanks for the tips, yes, my current Supertooth Moto mike/power plug is also 'fiddly', and i take care not to bend i'ts pins, etc.
Janet at Bike 2Bike was very helpful, and actually advises caution on lining the jack int he receptacle carefuly, and offers after-sales support, because she is aware of the problem.
Cheers
on the interphone front:
They acknowledge a stupid design shortsoming and replaced the headset hardware part- no charge and will do so under wararnty for as long as my software and main component still work.
