I am reliably informed that

I am reliably informed that any 20w50 multigrade oil is fine. I suggest non synthetic.

Don't by no name brands!!!!!!

I agree

The clutch is a wet-clutch, and synthetic oil and cheap rubbish oil can damage the clutch by making it too slippery and interfering with its workings.  Give it a can of the best (as they say).

Motorcycle oil

Any good semi synthetic oil "motorcycle specific"would be best. Midas have a semi-synthetic motorcycle oil that wont break the bank. You dont want any car any car specific oil, as per above it can kill the clutch and car engines do not house a gearbox which puts a lot of strain on the oil. Remember to replace the oil filter at the same time.

Remember however if you use

Remember however if you use synthetic oils you must top up with synthetic which means you must carry oil with you.
