hey guys i no this isnt your normal gravel road ride ,an i havent done it..but its on google as a road[jeep track] an i'm realy keen to do it.. if u not ready for the un expected i dont rate u should try it..but hell i'm ready..i wanna ride jeep tracks in the middle of the mountains,who's with me.. check it out on google let me no if u keen..here are the numbers..starting either side....

Forget it. You are absolutely not allowed to ride a bike up there. Not even a mountain bike! I was summarily expelled from the area once while cycling up that very road, which leads to the Vodacom mast at the top of the mountain.

y does google put al these roads on the maps if we cant ride them..
i wont try it then ,but dam it looks good...is there any way "we" can get the "go-go" for it??
Google doesn't know which roads are public, and which are private. Just like the farm roads that you refer to in your other thread, the fact that they are on the map does not mean that they are public roads.
I think you will struggle to get a permit to take a motorised vehicle up there. It may be possible now to get a permit to mountain-bike up there, but I'm not sure.
